*Majored in social work at Portland.
*Previously an assistant women's soccer coach at Portland, helping the team to the NCAA Final Four in 1998, her first year on the bench.
*Received the key to the city of Escondido in December of 1996 after winning her Olympic gold medal.
*Enjoys reading, shopping, playing board games and playing with Joy Fawcett's two daughters.
